The application provides remote management of Daikin Ducted Air Conditioners via an iOS device, offering a range of functionalities comparable to the dedicated wall-mounted touch control panel.

Key features include simple control and monitoring of basic operations such as power (On/Off), temperature settings, fan speed, and operational modes. The app also supports zone management, allowing users to identify zone names and remotely control zone dampers where applicable.

Additional capabilities encompass easy timer settings, access to dealer contact information, and maintenance functions. Depending on the specific model, the app can display indoor and outdoor temperature readings for enhanced climate management.

For setups without a local Wi-Fi network, the SkyZone interface can function as a Wi-Fi Access Point, enabling direct connectivity from the iOS device within range. When a home or local Wi-Fi network is available, the SkyZone interface can be configured through the app to connect to the existing network by inputting the network’s SSID and password, facilitating multiple device access.

If the Wi-Fi network maintains a permanent Internet connection, remote control from anywhere in the world becomes feasible, provided the iOS device has Internet access. This offers substantial convenience for users managing their air conditioning remotely.

No subscription fee is required for this service; however, standard charges for local network data transmission may apply.

This application is compatible exclusively with Daikin Ducted Air Conditioners equipped with the Daikin Touch Controller system (SkyZone). Compatible models include the premium FDYQT series or units fitted with optional controllers such as models BRC24TZ4, BRC230TZ4, or BRC230TZ8.
